Mathematics Education Advocacy Nepal (MEAN), is an organization working to promote ICT integrated educational activities addressing the need of people. Through different trainings and workshops using ICTs as tools, we empower the Math-teachers to become life long learner to achieve our vision and mission.
Vision
A lamp can only light another lamp when it continues to burn in its flame: Rabindranath Tagore. Thus, Qualified teacher workforce can address the learning needs of the learners across the country.

Passion and curiosity about learning of NetGeners can be satisfied through connectivist pedagogy of George Siemens.
Responsibility
MEAN has started different trainings / workshops designed to meet the needs of professionals to utilize Information Technology integrated mathematics teaching/learning activities.
Objectives
देशको सर्वाङिण विकाशको मुख्य माध्यम नै शिक्षा भएकोले विभिन्न क्षेत्र र स्तरका शैक्षिक कार्यक्रमहरुको प्रशिक्षण गराई सक्षम तथा उत्पादनशील नागरिक तयार गर्ने गराउने।
MEAN को थप उद्देश्यहरु- डिजिटल उपकरणहरु / गणित / कम्प्युटरसंग सम्वन्धित बिभिन्न बिषयहरु, भाषा तथा ल्याङवेजको प्रशिक्षण संचालन गर्ने गराउने।
- शैक्षिक सफ्टवेयरहरुको प्रकाशन, प्रशिक्षण वा बिक्री बितरण गर्ने गराउने ।
- स्वदेशी वा बिदेशी गणितज्ञहरुको सहयोगमा सेमिनार, गोष्ठि संचालन गर्ने गराउने।
- अनुसन्धानात्मक लेख, रचना जस्ता सामाग्रीहरुको जर्नल, वुलेटीन वा स्मारीकाहरु छापा वा विद्युतीय माधयमबाट प्रकाशन वा बिक्री बितरण गर्ने गराउने ।
- विभिन्न स्तरका पुस्तक, पाठ्य पुस्तकहरु वा सन्दर्भ सामग्रीहरु छापा वा विद्युतीय माधयमबाट प्रकाशन, बिक्री वितरण गर्ने गराउने ।
- विद्यालय शिक्षा देखि उच्च शिक्षा सम्मका बिभिन्न विषयको तालीम/ प्रशिक्षण संचालन गर्ने गराउने।
